Every workday over a million and a half people come into Manhattan and then, after work, head back home again. The journey is made in groups of two or ten, by the hundreds or just one, and because it's Manhattan, the journey usually starts on foot to that bus or train or ferry that's got a schedule you've got to meet.
This project, which I’ve called Going Home, grew out of that daily journey.
Eventually the project has grown to include all of us who, at the end of the day, just want to get home.
